ECHO Klassik 2015 for Kirill Gerstein's Tchaikovsky!

We are very delighted to announce that Kirill Gerstein will be awarded the prestigious German ECHO Klassik prize in the "Best Concerto" category. On this world premiere recording of the 1879 critical urtext version of Tchaikovsky's Piano Concerto No. 1, Kirill Gerstein has teamed up with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin under the baton of James Gaffigan. The album, released in February 2015 on the myrios classics label, has already been praised by music critics around the globe. The ECHO Klassik gala will be held on October 18 at the Konzerthaus Berlin.
